Planning a vacation: Top ten cities you should visit – Part 2

When considering where to travel for a vacation, keep these cities in mind. They are the most exciting places I have ever been to, and I’ll tell you my reasons.

1. London – A city full of things to do and see. There are plenty of clubs, bars, and pubs, you’ll never have a boring night! Shop in some of the best markets, with awesome deals. Take a walk down oxford street and I challenge anyone to not spend just a little money. You can’t do it!

2. Rome – This place will take your breath away. The first time you set eyes on the coliseum you will think to yourself, “Wow, am I really here right now?” Walk up the Spanish Steps and enjoy the view. Visit old churches. There’s even a crypt in one of them!

3. Paris – They say it’s the most romantic city in the world. I have to agree, as long as you aren’t inside the Metro! If you go to Paris, be sure you take the Metro to Porte de Clignancourt, which is the biggest market in the city. Also, don’t miss the Eiffel Tower at night. Beautiful.

4. Amsterdam – You might think of weed and hookers when you think of this city, but I think of boat rides on the canals and amazing architecture.

5. Barcelona – Wow, the buildings in Barcelona are awesome! While there, everyone must see the Segrada Familia… it’s fantastic. And any other building by Gaudi. Also, take a walk around the Gothic district.

6. Portland – A wonderful city for vintage lovers. Be sure to go shopping in Hawthorne, there are great vintage stores there, plus other quirky places to spend your money, like the Baghdad movie theater( you can watch a movie, eat pizza, and drink alcohol all at the same time!).

7. Monterey – Take a drive up the coast of California, and stop by this city. With places like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Bubba Gumps Restraunt, and the shops at Cannery Row, you’ll have a great, relaxing time.

8. Puerto Vallarta – Plenty of clubs to keep the party person busy, like Senor Frogs, Carlos O’Brian’s, and Zoo. The best Hotel to stay at is Krystal Vallarta, a 4 star hotel with individual pools for each villa, and a really huge pool for everyone which has a bar you can swim up to.

9. Bath – Locaded just outside London, England, you will fall in love with this city. While there, visit the Roman Baths. Drink the water and watch the steam rise up into the air. Walk around the small streets and feel like you have travelled back in time.

10. Hollywood – Tour star’s homes, Go to TV show tapings, spend all your money on Rodeo Drive, spend the day at Universal Studios, ride the bull at Saddle Ranch… these are just a few of the things you can do here. As long as you have the energy, you could be up all night!
