Amsterdam’s Bloemenmarkt is the only floating flower market in the world. You can really have a wonderful time in the company of colorful flowers and people from all around the world.
You can really have great pleasure checking out the country’s ancient museum, Rijksmuseum. The Rijksmuseum displays the supreme collection of 17th-century Dutch works of sculpture. ‘The Masterpieces’ exhibit the paintings by Dutch masters Rembrandt, Vermeer and Frans Hals, and a eye-catching compilation of fine Delftware, silver and other artifacts.
Amsterdam’s canals are perhaps the most attractive features of the city. The Amsterdam Red Light District covers up a huge area of the city’s oldest part. The district is full of cinemas, sex shops, hotels, brothels, gay bars and various museums. Every year, millions of visitants come to see this lively and exhilarating part of Amsterdam.
If you really want to visit stunning, striking and gorgeous place, go to the Magere Brug or Skinny Bridge over the Amstel River. On its one side, you can see Carré Theater, and the Stopera (Ballet/Opera/City Hall) on the other. You just stand for a few minutes to get pleasure from the view and to watch people walking/biking by.
You can also enjoy walking thru ‘The 9 Streets’, which is one of Amsterdam’s most exclusive and impressive areas. You can also enjoy watching a movie in Tuschinski, which is a big, Art Deco movie palace situated between the Munt tower and the Rembrandtplein. It was opened in 1921, and now it has been completely modernized and is today one of the release cinemas in the city. When you are in Amsterdam, don’t forget to watch ‘Blijburg Beach’. It is located on IJburg, the new islands in the East of Amsterdam.
